Burns an' a' that! Shuttlebus
A FREE mini shuttle bus will operate both Saturday and Sunday from 12.45pm - 3.45pm stopping at the following locations
Ayr Train Station (front) - Begins 12.45pm
Miller Road (outside Hospice building)
Blackburn Carpark (Park n Ride from here. Pick up at far end closest to Ayr India)
Belleisle Park

Hometime Bus
A special Hometime Bus will be in operation leaving the park at 10pm on the Saturday night and returning to Ayr train Station via Blackburn carpark (park n ride). Tickets for this bus are £3 and must be booked in advance by calling 01292 616143. (Limited spaces available).
By Foot
Belleisle Park is situated slightly outwith the town centre but for the fit and healthy it can be walked to in around 30-45 minutes (allow longer if not so fit and healthy!) Follow the Burns banners from the bottom of Miller Road and you will reach your destination!
Or you can park for free at Blackburn Carpark (located at end of esplanade) then simply walk up Seafield Road and turn right to walk straight along Doonfoot Road. You will reach the festival in around 15-20 minutes!
By Car / Parking
Parking on site is reserved for golfers and therefore restricted to some disabled spaces only. Some on site parking may become available in the evening.
Blackburn Drive carpark is a free carpark located at the end of the esplanade. You can park here and walk to Belleisle in around 15-20mins or take our shuttlebus or a taxi. Cromwell Road carpark is also free and located at the further away end of the seafront near the Horizon Hotel. There is also free parking near Greenan Castle in Doonfoot.

By Train
Download the Scotrail app or visit their website to see just how easy it is to get to Ayr from Glasgow and further afield. Regular services arrive at Ayr Station where you can choose to take our shuttlebus or a bus or taxi or walk to the event.
By Bus
Stagecoach operate regular bus services to Ayr Bus Station. The bus station is located in Ayr Sandgate making it easy for you to hop on another bus, walk or take a taxi to the event.
The number 97 (Craig Tara Holiday Park bus) runs on both the Saturday and the Sunday of the festival leaving Ayr Bus Station at 45mins past the hour until 7.45pm. On the way back this bus picks up from Belleisle Park at approx 20 past the hour until 8.20pm taking you back to Ayr Train Station and Bus Station.
There is also a number 9 service that leaves Ayr town centre on the Saturday only every half hour until approx 5.40pm and returning from Belleisle until approx 6pm.
The number 98 service runs on Sundays only from Craig Tara Holiday Park to Ayr Racecourse Sunday Market and stops at Ayr Sandgate and Belleisle once an hour from approximately 11-3pm.

By Air
International visitors can arrive on our doorstep via Ryanair flights to Glasgow Prestwick International. The airport links with the rail network and trains run approximately every half hour so simply pop on a train and in less than 10 minutes you will be at Ayr station where you can follow the directions above. Glasgow Airport is approx an hour away by train and Edinburgh airport just a couple of hours away.
