Burnsfest Shuttlebus

Burnsfest (Next Date tbc) - a FREE mini shuttle bus will operate from the front of Ayr Train Station and Blackburn Carpark Park ‘n’ Ride to the Festival between 12.30pm -10.30pm.

By Car - Burnsfest

At Burnsfest there is FREE on site parking at the Festival. The Festival is signposted both ways from the A77 heading towards Alloway.

Rozelle Estate, Monument Road, Ayr, Ayrshire, KA7 4NQ.

NB - A one way system will be in operation within the park so entry must be via Monument Road only and exit via The Loaning.

Burns On the Beach - By Car

Burns At the Beach - Free Parking included disabled car parking is available at Cromwell Road and Queens Terrace carpark. There is also some parking on non yellow lined spaces on the promenade.

 

By Foot or Bike

Rozelle Park and Alloway Village are located outwith Ayr town centre but for the fit and healthy they can be walked to in around 45 minutes.

From the train station, cross Burns Statue Square to Beresford Terrace and head past Sports Direct straight out Carrick Road and Monument Road to reach the destinations.

We actively encourage sustainable transport and cyclists are very welcome at Burnsfest - there is a fenced area next to our supplier carpark where bikes can be parked (at own risk). Pop by the Active Travel Hub for more info!

By Train

Download the Scotrail app or visit their website to see just how easy it is to get to Ayr from Glasgow and further afield. Regular services arrive at Ayr Station where you can choose to take our Burnsfest shuttlebus (Burnsfest date only) or grab a taxi.

By Bus

Stagecoach operate regular bus services to Ayr Bus Station. The bus station is located in Ayr Sandgate making it easy for you to hop on another bus, walk or take a taxi to our events.

You can take the 361 service from Carrick Street in Ayr which drops you at Alloway Burns Cottage - if you're a visitor to the area just ask the driver where to get off. You can also download the Stagecoach bus app which has a handy journey planner and live bus times.

By Air

International visitors can arrive on our doorstep via Ryanair flights to Glasgow Prestwick International. The airport links with the rail network and trains run approximately every half hour so simply pop on a train and in less than 10 minutes you will be at Ayr station where you can follow the directions above. Glasgow Airport is approx an hour away by train and Edinburgh airport just a couple of hours away.
